News and Links

Winter was hard on the orchard.  We lost about 100 peach trees to the extreme moisture in December, January, February and March.  Peaches don’t like “wet feet”.  However, there are lots of surviving trees and they have a good crop of fruit set.

Unlike last year, the apple crop is pretty heavy this year.  The Honeycrisp apples look especially productive.  Look forward to a great harvest in August.
